The easiest way to identify fonts on web pages

Latest Update: December 3, 2018

WhatFont makes it quite easy to detect font families of any text in a webpage. You just need to install the extension on your browser (available for Chrome, Firefox and Safari) click the “f?” button you’ll find on the toolbar and hover over the element you want to inspect. The results are shown in a floating box. Except for the font family name you also get the font size, the line height and font color is used by the certain element. WhatFont also detects services used for serving the font i.e. Typekit and Google Font API.
